Linux Development at Danger
Now, it is becoming impossible to create a new product or develop new software without infringing any patents. That is why we see a lot of news on lawsuits all over the world. The same happened to Google and disregarding the fact that is a giant company in providing search engine services, it was fined $5 millions by the Linux kernel. The thing is that Google uses the software for its server platforms and could also use it in relation to its Android mobile platform. And I can say that it is just the start as the kernel stands at the top of developing open-source operating systems.
The company name that won is Bedrock Computer Technologies and it is just the Google which was sued for infringements. In the world of intellectual property, the size of the fine does not really matter. The fine of Google seems to be modest as Google is considered to be the greatest Linux user.
The most thrilling fact here is there are a lot of Linux users over the world and each one will have to pay fines if the patent holder will apply to the Court. That is the main obstacle for the development of Linux.

while what the article tries to point out is true, it misspeeled “happened” as “happed”.
