Verizon Expands 4G LTE Network
Verizon announced recently that it will expand its 4G LTE network to 21 more areas starting on June 16. Here is the list of the 21 new areas to be covered.

The expansion will bring speeds of up to 10 times faster than that of 3G to the areas involved. Subscribers will experience an average of 12 Mbps download speeds while upload speeds will average at 5 Mbps. This will be extremely useful when customers are doing video conferencing, surfing the web or downloading a huge file.
Verizon said that subscription to the 4G service ranges from $20 to $80 a month and subscribers need a 4G capable device to access the service.
Currently the company has already covered one third of the US in its 4G network and the current expansion will cover the other third of the country in a timeframe of 18 months.
