Evernote Now Lets You Attach Any File Type

Keeping track of bits of information found on the web just got a bit easier. Evernote, the cross platform note taking website and software application has announced that finally users will be to attach any type of files to their notes.

Evernote Now Lets You Attach Any File TypeThis, of course, is excellent news because in today’s web browsing environment, the media encountered is quite rich. In the past Evernote only supported PDF, Image, Text and Audio files. These allowances although fairly broad were missing the one ingredient that dominates the web today and that is video.

Users can now add video to the list of items available to their Evernote Notebooks, along with Zip files and even Photoshop PSD files. This means that writing and collaborating can become a more interactive experience. Evernote stands to gain from this announcement too as die-hearted video lovers will no doubt jump on board and start using the application.

Aside from the liberation of file type attachments, Evernote has another improvement worth writing home about. Much like Dropbox, Evernote now lets you access all files uploaded from a central location. This means that files stored locally (and across multiple devices) can now be synced with a user’s Evernote account, giving them the flexibility and ease of access required in today’s fast paced web environment.

Evernote is certainly not a household name yet, but with this round of improvements, it’s not far off.
