GetApp.com Gets $1.1 Million In Funding

If GetApp.com was vying for a business growth award, it would pretty much annihilate its competition. Launched just 21 months ago, the Software as a Service (SaaS) and cloud-based business Apps Company is reporting that a round of funding totaling $1.1 million has been injected into the company. The VC forking out the funds is Nauta Capital, a Spanish-American firm who specializes in backing start-ups like GetApp. According to a spokesman from GetApp, the money will be used to further the growth of the young company who’s seen increased demand from SMEs in the last few months.

GetApp.com Gets $1.1 Million In FundingGetApp certainly has justification for being bullish about its potential for growth because in the last year and half, cloud-based services have risen in demand. Many of the SMEs in today’s business climate are looking to cut costs and speed up online and data management. Companies like GetApp therefore can be confident that there will be lots of business available in the coming years.

On top of these prospects surrounding web-based applications, the demand among businesses for SaaS has risen dramatically in the last few months. And GetApp in particular has benefited from that rising demand. The company now furnishes over 60,000 UK and US businesses and plans to accommodate more as it ramps up its capacity. This will certainly help GetApp to attract more vendors Zoho and NetSuite who currently rely on its lead generation services.
