How to Download and Install WinterBoard Themes on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch?

We see quite a lot of people interested in WinterBoard themes for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Those who are already have it, know how expansive and great the themes are. WinterBoard themes are not merely a default set of themes which you can use – but the highlight of the Cydia app is that it lets you combine multiple themes and have them all – in a manner that you can control. It brings in a very cool look to your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and also makes very unique combinations.

To those who haven’t yet installed WinterBoard themes, here’s how to install WinterBoard themes on jailbroken iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

Step 1
Head over to Cydia. Tap to open it.

Step 2
Now, tap on ‘Themes’ to open it.

Step 3
Once you open Themes, you will be required to select the correct version of themes – select HD for iPhone 4, SD for other iPhones and iPad for iPad.

Step 4
You’ll be shown a long list of paid and free WinterBoard themes to download on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touche. Tap on the one you want, take a look at its details, and just download it / buy it.

Step 5
If you have found a theme you wish to install, tap on the Package button. Information page of the theme will come up where you can install the theme.

Step 6
Now, tap on Install, and then tap on Confirm button to install theme.

The theme would get installed. Tap on Return to Cydia – and then exit Cydia to get to your SpringBoard.

Step 6
Once done, tap on the WinterBoard app – and you will be shown the homescreen for the app.

Make sure the SummerBoard Mode is switched “on” and tap on ‘Select Themes’

Step 8
Select the themes you want. You can select multiple themes – and if you click and drag around, you can even re-arrange the order of the themes. It affects which icons from which themes affect the icons of the SpringBoard, the Dock and more.

Step 9
After selecting the theme you just installed from Cydia, Tap on the WinterBoard button in the top right corner of the screen to return on WinterBoard’s homescreen.

Step 10

Now you will see Respring button in the top left corner of the screen. Tap on that button and your iDevice will respring to activate your selected theme.

Step 11:
Slide to unlock when your iDevice resprings and you are done!

Now, you will see your selected themes have been activated. That’s it. You can play around with the themes and their order to get that unique look you are hoping to get for your iDevice.
