How to Remove Dictation from iPhone 4S!
Voice dictation is an excellent feature on the iOS – iPhne 4S and the new iPad – no doubt, but there are quite a lot of people we meet who say it’s not exactly interesting because they are more comfortable typing the message out than having read it out aloud.
When you are in your office, or somewhere out, you don’t exactly want to use the dictation feature. Okay we type: but then, there’s a problem with that. The space bar gets shrunk due to the dictation icon.
This ultra short tutorial will help you remove that dictation feature / icon from the keypad so the space bar regains its length. Of course, in the process you will have to disable Siri.
How to remove dictation from iPhone 4S
- Go to Settings
- Tap General
- Now tap on Siri
- Disable Siri by sliding the switch of OFF.
- Head back to iPhone 4S messaging and you’ll see that the dictation features is turned off now and so, you’ll have a larger space bar.
