Zendesk Hits 20,000 Customers

Salesforce.com may be snatching up enterprise real estate all over the internet but companies like Zendesk are still holding their own and growing. The online customer service company now stands at 20,000 customers and has recently updated its platform to enable language localization.

According to the Zendesk release, 11 localized versions of its services are now available and users as far as Brazil and China can use the platform to handle its customer service queries and data. The 11 languages adds to the already 40 which the platform had set up previously and now gives the company considerable reach.

This of course is reach that the company can now use to scale its businesses and COO Zack Urlocker believes that Zendesk will deliver on a truly global scope of customer service. According to Urlocker: “For companies that want to be global, we’re making it easy for them to deliver that service in a global fashion.”

Urlocker and co seems to have hit the right formula because the platform now delivers customer service to 70 million customers in over 140 countries. Zendesk also collects useful data about its efficacy and according to its proprietary Customer Service Index users in Brazil and the US rank highly in terms of customer satisfaction.

With such growth Zendesk should outpace the long acquisition-arm of Salesforce.
