People rejoiced when news broke out that Verizon Wireless is planning to offer family data plans in the future. But T-Mobile beat it to it when it announced that family data plans will be available starting today.

The BlackBerry PlayBook which was released last April 19 has sold 250,000 units so far. Although this isn’t large enough to compete with the iPad sales it actually is selling much faster than the Motorola Xoom. This data was released by RBC Capital Markets through its General Manager Mike Abramsky.

May 5, Apple announced that it deployed an update to its iOS that will decrease the data kept in the location cache on iPads and iPhones. The update will also eliminate the backup of the data when the device is synced with iTunes. Once the user has the new iOS version, turning off the location services on iOS devices will delete the cache

Amazon has recently announced its partial failure of the cloud services. Seems that a lot of companies, service providers, and developers will have a break for months or even much longer. Amazon termed this failure as partial because it has just affected the data center in the northern Virginia, and the most of the AWS services were running fine
