Leave it to Google to come up with something that works flawlessly—so far at least. The search engine giant started development of its ‘self-driving’ car many moons ago it seems but thanks to a bit of dedication and millions of dollars, the car is now clocking mile after mile. To date the self-driving car has gone 300,000 miles without an accident, a feat Google is very happy to talk up.

Marissa Mayer doesn’t have a lot to work with at Yahoo and given the state of the company, the only direction she can it is up—or so one would hope. The former Google employee was appointed by to replace Scott Thompson who as it turned out, wasn’t worth his name on paper.

Truth be told, Google Chrome is becoming a resource hog that doesn’t play very well with Flash, but this hasn’t stopped the browser from pummeling the competition. Users it seem can tolerate both those shortcomings if it means not putting up with the shortcomings of Internet Explorer and Firefox
